Buffalo, NY-based power pop quartet girlpope needed a poster to promote their pre-Thanksgiving performance celebrating 25 years as a band. Inspired by Saul Bass’s timeless designs for the 1960 Otto Preminger film Exodus, I added elements perfectly in tune with the group’s humor and sincere reverence for pop culture. The poster was printed in multiple autumnal colorways to match the season.
