Influential apparel retailer Ron Herman needed a new design and retail framework for his masterfully curated So Cal brand collections. Taking inspiration from the actual in-store shopping experience, a shadowbox metaphor—complete with woodgrain, paper textures, and polaroid photo frames—was utilized throughout a tightly integrated and award-winning site design. The collaborative nature of Virid’s partnership with the Ron Herman online team allowed the site to subtly evolve while maintaining a unique character, incorporating new features to enrich the online shopping experience.
